Description
SSL, or Secure Sockets Layer, is a protocol that is used to encrypt communication between a web server and a client, such as a web browser. It is designed to prevent third parties from eavesdropping on or tampering with the communication. However, like any other piece of software, SSL can have vulnerabilities that can be exploited by attackers. Some common SSL vulnerabilities include weak encryption keys, incorrect configuration, and outdated versions of the SSL protocol. It is important for organizations to regularly check for and address any SSL vulnerabilities in order to maintain the security of their web communications.
